1. Who we are
StayLingo is a marketplace that connects travelers with host families for homestays and language courses. By using StayLingo you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings & payments
Bookings are confirmed only after the host approves the request and payment is completed via Stripe. StayLingo charges a service fee on each booking and remits the host payout after check-in.
3. Cancellations
Guests may cancel a pending request at any time. Once confirmed, cancellation policies vary by host. Refund eligibility follows the host's selected policy.
4. User conduct
Respectful, lawful behavior is required. Harassment, discrimination, fraud, or illegal activity may result in account termination.
5. Disputes
Disputes should first be resolved between guest and host via messaging. Unresolved disputes may be escalated to StayLingo support.
6. Limitation of liability
StayLingo is an intermediary and is not responsible for the condition of accommodations or the conduct of users. Use at your own discretion.
